I am so very grateful for the wonderful employees that I have. One of my favorites has left because of her husband's transfer. I am so grateful for the 2 years that she worked for me. This is a picture from her last day and the extremely thoughtful gift she presented to me.

I am extremely grateful for working near a beach. As I drove into work this morning, I looked out over the bay and thought how grateful I am for this view. Not everyone is able to see what I see everyday at work. When things are not so good, I have to remember this fantastic view. This is what I see when I walk outside my building.

This past weekend I was awakened by a text from my son and grand daughters. It was then that I decided how grateful I was that my son was thinking about me on a Saturday morning and so were my grand daughters. They took a selfie while getting ready to run errands that morning and sent it to me along with a "Good morning" greeting. What a great way to start a weekend!

Making Strides for Breast Cancer

I walked in the Breast Cancer walk on Saturday and it was such a moving experience. I am so very grateful that I am healthy and able to walk for those who are not. They are such an inspiration to me. My friend has just completed her chemotherapy, double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. I am grateful to know her and her strength.
